Animate cafe has updated its themed cafes for March! In line with the theatrical release of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi: Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai on 15th March, two of the four animate cafes located around Japan are featuring Sekaiichi Hatsukoi on its menus this month.
This month, the Animate cafes located at otome-friendly Ikebukuro and Tennouji have turned pink for their Sekaiichi Hatuskoi (Seka-koi) theme. For a limited period from 1st to 31st March, the cafes will be offering fans a chance to enjoy character-themed food and beverages in a quaint cafe designed and decorated with illustrations of their favourite Seka-koi characters. Take note though, advanced internet booking/balloting is required to get a seat on weekends. Weekday entry will be on first-come, first-served basis.

Fans will be spoilt for choice as the menu offers a luxurious choice of 6 mains, 3 desserts and 7 drinks. As part of the Yokozawa no Baai series, the menu offers mains such as Yokozawa and Kirishima’s Porridge set and Hiyori’s Birthday Party Meat Pie set, which are related to certain story events in the actual novels and manga of the series. Scrumptious desserts include Sorata’s Pancake, Onodera and Takano’s Birthday Cake set and Tinkle’s (the rabbit mascot) Kira-Kira Parfait. Complete your meal with Yoshino Chiaki’s Cream Soda, Kisa Shouta’s Energy Drink, Yukina Kou’s Hot Vanilla Milk or even a Yokozawa Bear Latte Art, delightfully topped with a cocoa powder Yokozawa-bear.

Limited edition clear bookmarks
With every order of a main or dessert, fans can get a limited edition clear bookmark (4 designs in total). A limited edition coaster (8 designs in total) also comes with any drink order. Do note that designs are given at random, so good luck!

Limited edition goods are also on sale only at this cafe. Aside from the coasters and clear bookmarks, the cafe also offers A4 clear files, character print rusks (6 pieces/pack), and original chocolate bars. Although these goods are typically gimmicky, who can resist the adorable chibi drawings of their favourite characters by Shungiku Nakamura (manga artist of the Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and Junjou Romantica series)? Animate will also be offering a limited time sale of an original Sekaiichi Hatsukoi Animate card (4 designs). If you are a fan and haven’t gotten an Animate card, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Animate card holders, fret not, you can also request a card transfer if you cannot resist these limited edition cards!
