Prepare to get psyched for this! There is a new trailer being screened for the second season as well as the film of Psycho-Pass. This trailer was first revealed at a Psycho-Pass live event, and was streamed live via Niconico.
From the trailer, we hear various quotes from the first season from Akane Tsunemori (VA: Kana Hanazawa) and see the trailer end by announcing that the new series and film will be “completely new works” and a cryptic message saying “SIByL still continues…“
Need I also remind our readers that news of the second season was hinted at by Production I.G President & CEO Mitsuhisa Ishikawa, who acknowledged in an Anime Expo panel earlier in July that the second season of the anime was going to happen.
At present, apart from confirmation that there will be a movie and a second season, we have no information on a release date. As news of it gets out, you can be sure we will update you readers, so stick around!
