There are many thing to see and experience at AFA ID 2014 – awesome cosplays, various events happening at the mini-stage, delicious food and drinks in a maid and butler café, and official merchandise from the various vendors. One of them, not to be missed, is the Creator’s Hub, where the creative works made by art groups and fans are displayed.
For anyone who are visiting AFA for their first time, these booths in the Creator’s Hub usually sell badges, posters, keychains and many other creative fanmade merchandise. Some creators even have their own doujinshi, which are essentially self-published works in the form of manga. With so much to look at and chose from, you can be sure you will find something that catches your eye!
Artgroups have always been somewhat of a mainstay at events. In order to differentiate themselves and promote their goods at the event, some booths let their customers take on a challenge! We have a go at one of the booth “Mocca Forte“, where they had prepared something for all their visitors and customers as part of the Independence Day celebrations! (17 August happens to be Indonesia’s Independence Day).
For us, we risked out taste buds on a certain spicy chips challenge in an attempt to win something!
The chips were really spicy and dry – worthy of a challenge. We still had a fun trying it and even won something!
The team went around the Creators’ Hub area and took many photos of the area. Take a look and see if you recognize any booths that your friends might have been running, or you might just happen to be inside one of our photos!
How did you like the Creator’s Hub? Let us know down in the comments!
