News flash: movie in production
It does look like the series is on a roll this year. The English version of School Idol festival, was released this year worldwide, and it’s anime’s second season (it ended on 29 June) aired this year. It is also time to celebrate the fifth anniversary for the series, and what better way to mark the occasion than to release a film and to have a few events here and there?
Personally, I think this is really great, five years on and the series just gets better with an ever increasing fanbase, and two anime seasons! Now I wonder if they will have any more of those live simulcast concerts again… wait I am asking for too much? Oh come on!
Any ways, there’s more about the upcoming film. The voice cast of the series have all done some short videos (that are up on Lantis’ YouTube channel) on how they feel about this upcoming release, and I won’t hold you back,
Emi Nitta (Honoka Kousaka)
Yoshino Nanjo (Eli Ayase)
Sora Tokui (Nico Yazawa)
Aya Uchida (Kotori Minami)
Suzuko Mimori (Umi Sonoda)
Riho Iida (Rin Hoshizora)
Pile (Maki Nishikino)
Aina Kusuda (Nozomi Tojo)
Yurika Kubo (Hanayo Koizumi)
Let us know in the comments on how you feel about this upcoming release!
