Looking for treasure? Look no further, because a promotional video was released on Thursday 9 January 2014 for the TV anime adaptation of Kazuma Ōtorino and artist Akaringo’s Ryūgajō Nanana no Maizōkin (Nanana’s Buried Treasure) novel – one on television and the other on the show’s website, which you can view here.
15 Second Version
30 Second Version
The story centers around the treasure of Nanana, a ghost who was once a NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). A boy, Jūgo, who lives in the apartment that was haunted by Nanana, and members of the school’s adventure club joined a “treasure hunt royale” on the island for the “Nanana Collection“, a treasure that possesses some mysterious power.
Here are a few of the cast as stated on the official website:
- Nanana Ryūgajō (Rui Tanabe)
- Jūgo Yama (Yuuki Ono)
Staff are:
- Director: Kanta Kamei
- Series composition: Hideyuki Kurata
- Character Design: Tetsuya Kawakami
- Music: Keigo Hoashi, Monaca
- Studio: A-1 Pictures
Not sure what to make of this, probably will be an interesting watch, at least it seems like it got the action genre covered for spring! Also, I somehow get the feeling that when we finally get to see the treasure, it would be something silly (this speculation is based on not having read the manga and light novel). This anime will premier in April this year, aka spring 2014.
