A new 15-minute trailer was released for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, and here it is!
The game will allow players to visit various cities in the world of Aincrad and forge new alliances with characters they meet along the way. Want a Persona 3/4 style social link system where you can meet up and spend time with the various characters to get closer to them and such? Yeah, you can do that too in this game too. Kirito can spend time with the various characters and strengthen their friendships or bonds or whatever you want to make of it.
Also, you can create your own character avatar and engage in party play with up to eight other players in an “adventure mode“. Sweet! LAN party anyone!? (Yeah I know we no longer use LAN and we are not on computers, but hey what the hell! It’s still a gaming gathering alright!)
The game’s limited first edition, costing 9,980-yen (US$100) will include a box with artwork, a soundtrack CD, a product code to unlock an in-game outfit, a special contents Blu-ray Disc, small clear posters, and special package and cases. The standard edition will retail for 6,170 yen (US$62).
