On 30th of June 2013, BABYMETAL held their LEGEND “1999″ YUIMETAL & MOAMETAL Birthday Live at the NHK Hall. It was attended by 3,600 excited fans, eager to congratulate the 2 “99′er”‘s birthday which is within a 10 days of the concert.
YUIMETAL the slightly older one is born on June 20th while MOAMETAL on July 4th, both are 14 this year.
BABYMETAL as a group have much to be happy about apart from the double birthday with the release of their 2nd Single “Megitsune” peaked at number 2 on the Oricon Daily and 7th on the Weekly Charts. Continuing their appearance on Oricon top 10 for their 2nd straight single since “Ijime, Dame, Zettai“, to great reviews!
In addition, BABYMETAL have also successfully performed at the “METROCK2013″ in May.

For LEGEND “1999″, BABYMETAL performed a total of 14 songs including the encores, starting their with the anthem like “BABYMETAL DEATH“, crowd favorite “いいね！” , and ending the main portions with their 2 top 10 singles, “Megitsune” and “Ijime, Dame, Zettai“.
For encore, “Akatsuki” the coupling song for single “Megitsune” is sung, and closing the concert is ”ヘドバンギャー！！(Head Bang!!)”
Interestingly, a new song with the title yet to be determined is debuted. It shows off SU-METAL‘s singing voice with YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL with a crystal piano, performing live on stage.
A new side of BABYMETAL have emerged!
BABYMETAL’s next solo live will be a the Makuhari Messe Event Hall, on the 21st of December, Saturday, titled 「LEGEND”1997” SU-METAL聖誕祭」.
They will also be appearing at the 「JOIN ALIVE 2013」 on 21st July、「ROCK IN JAPAN FES」on 4th August,「SUMMER SONIC 2013」 on the 10th and 11th of August as well as their only overseas live announced for 2013 so far, 「Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2013」 on the 7th of September.
