Yesterday, Digimon fans were treated to a brand new trailer announcing the cast and the premier date for the long-awaited Digimon Adventure tri.
A whole new cast of seiyuus were selected for the roles of the DigiDestined. The cast is as follows:

Additionally, it has been announced that Digimon Adventures tri. will be a 6-part film series, rather than the originally announced “sequel anime series” premiering in Spring.
The first film will be titled “Saikai” (Reunion) and is set to premier on 21st November 2015.
Lastly, it has also been announced that AiM (Ai Maeda) will also be returning for the first ending theme “I wish”. It has been previously announced that Kouji Wada and Ayumi Miyazaki will return to perform the original opening theme “Butter-fly” and insert song “Brave Heart” respectively. All three songs will be new recordings of the songs from the original Digimon Adventures series.
